"China-Italy", A New Silk Road¡ª¡ªAir China to Launch the Direct Flight from Hangzhou to Rome

Recently, Air China announced its new HangzhouRome route on June 12. The Hangzhou-Rome route will be Air China's first direct flight route to Rome in East China. It is the fourth Sino-Italian route operated by Air China after Beijing-Rome, Beijing-Milan and Shanghai-Milan.

In recent years, Sino-Italian air traffic has grown rapidly, and the annual growth rate of passenger traffic from Hangzhou and Wenzhou to Rome alone has reached 14%. After the launch of Hangzhou-Rome route, Air China will have 25 routes between China and Europe, covering 19 major European cities such as London, Paris, Munich, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Vienna, Geneva, Madrid, Barcelona, Rome and Milan, providing nearly 200 flights between China and Europe every week.

The flight number of this route is CA731/732, which runs three shifts on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday every week. The departure flight departs from Hangzhou at 00:10 Beijing time and arrives in Rome at 06:55 local time. The return flight departs at 12:10 Rome local time and arrives in Hangzhou at 05:35 Beijing time the next day. Airbus 330-200 is the operating aircraft for this route. 180-degree full-recliner seats are equipped for Business class and personal entertainment system are available for all classes, providing passengers with a better personal flight space to kick back and enjoy themselves.
